Character Attributes and Statistics
Your character attributes consist of strength, intelligence, and dexterity.
Your strength and dexterity attributes improve the damage you inflict in combat,
your intelligence attribute improves the effectiveness of spells you cast.
Your player stats consist of hit points, magic points, stamina, armor rating,
and weight.
Hit points indicate how much damage you can sustain before you die. You lose
hit points when injured, but you heal over time, depending on the level of
your healing skill, and meditation for wizards. Your maximum number of hits
points is equal to your strength attribute.
Your magic points indicate how much magical energy you can channel. Magic
points are used whenever you cast a spell. Your magic points will regenerate
over time, depending on the level of your meditation skill. Your maximum number
of magic points is equal to your intelligence attribute.
Your stamina indicates how prepared you are to unleash your most devastating
attacks. Whenever you use a special attack your stamina points will go down.
Your stamina will regenerate when you are not in combat, although rogues may
regenerate a little even while fighting. Your maximum stamina will increase
as your dexterity increases.
Your armor rating shows how much protection you have from all of the clothing
and armor items that you currently have equipped. The higher this number the
less damage you will sustain when attacked.
Your weight statistic shows the total combined weight of all the items in
your inventory. You can carry up to 18 times your strength attribute.
