Magic/Special Items

There are some items that can't be made by players. These are special items and magic items. Special items include weapons such as a silver long sword. Silver can be particularly effective against undead creatures.

Special and magic items also include such things as rings. They will each have a unique ability. To use a magical ring, such as a ring of lightning bolt, equip it, then open the appropriate window, in this case magery/wizard, and click on the spell.

There are various ways of acquiring these items. These range from finding them on the corpses of powerful creatures to snagging them on your line while fishing. These items are also sometimes given as rewards for completing quests, , and some can be made by employing the skills of powerful enchanters and expert craftsmen.
