Items - Using/Arming

Items in your inventory are either usable, armable, or materials. These differences determine what happens when you click on an item in your inventory list.

Usable items are consumed when you click on them. These include items like potions or food. These items disappear from your inventory once they are used. Some items, such as orbs of seeing and sextants may be used without being consumed in the process.

Armable items are put into use when you click on them. These include items like weapons and armor. Your currently armed items are shown in your stats display. They will also appear in red in your inventory display.

You can not click on materials. These items simply serve as ingredients or ammunition when making other items or using skills. These include items like logs, ferrite, arrows and reagents. Materials disappear from your inventory when they are used to craft an item or used by a skill.
