| Here is an idea. How about having a polar bear as a new creature? Polar bears are the largest bear, can swim extremely well and look pretty cool. It could be the ultimate pet to strive for. Make taming them extremely difficult. They could be strong, fast and have good hit points. Less than a tuskers hit points but more than a Lava spider. Bite more than a lion but less than a tusker. Speed faster than a tusker but slower than a lion. I know everyone moans about how over -powered druids are, but that is a myth. Come on, a Polar bear would be great. |

It couldn't be called a polar bear though as Oberin is a flat world without a magnetic field
Frost Bear? |

| Yes, Frost Bear. And while we're at it why not have a few Frost Giants running around on some of those islands near ID. Or perhaps have a larger island with Frost Bears accompanied with Frost Giants. Frost Island! |

I remember Jinker talking about such a thing at the bank last summer or fall. He said its in the works.
I would think dragons to be a higher level than bears though. I guess bears and dracos would be about on par though. |

| Certain creatures should get a bump in their ability if fighting in their native environments. The frost bear and frost spider would be stronger in the ice dungeon. Lava spiders would in volcano. Sand spiders would on sand. Lions in certain forested areas. |

But would they be as strong as they are usually if they aren't in the environment? As in, if they aren't in their environment, you won't take it down further than the original strength?
Otherwise, i love it(YES YES YES!!!!!!) |

In past I made bear topic, explaining 4 different kind of bears, so you can say I'm bear fan.
But again.
Level 10 tamable creature? 11? 12? Sure. But not stronger than the current ones. If we must have such high level tamable creatures, either change current levels or add new "neat creatures" for higher level tamers which will not be stronger though...
I miss tamable ant queen so much... Why she cannot be tamable on lvl 12. *cries* That would be something. I could return to my ant only druid role play and get rid of those spiderlion things. *cries some more* |

Or those special beast require special attention. Poisonbeast would surelly like some poisonglands to eat now and then, maybe the frost beer... bear, would like some sort of coolant to be in good shape. Lava spiders would like to warm up at a firefield/fire place now and then . Lack of this attention would not kill the pet but perhaps weaken/slow it. |

Thats is what we are saying. More strength than a lion but less than a tusker, if i remember correctly. It's more of a balanced creature, rather than a crazy insane strong pet. Maybe it should have the speed of a harpie or HH, which are just a little slower than a lion? |

| Just make draco's tamable again and you won't need to bother with a new creature. |

I forgot to mention I don't count tusker. For me anything stronger than lava or lion is really bad idea. Tusker should be removed as pet and then made way quicker as a beast. |

| I am just a new druid, maybe only playing for a few months now(I can't remember exactly, can someone give me an estimate if they happen to know?), and I'm all for making the game harder, but the thing about druids is that, in my experience, yes, they are overpowered to some extent, but eventually, there is a point at which that stops. I have never seen a Druid solo a Dragon, but I have heard of other classes doing so(If a druid HAS soloed a Dragon, well done, i must say!). I have never heard of a druid soloing a SG, but again, I have heard of other classes doing so. I think that druids should not be attacked as they are for being overpowered because, in my experience, many other classes are overpowered more so(Not to be offensive or anything). Druids don't usually go so well in PvP where other classes do. eventually, as a druid, you can't do anything new, and the game stops being fun, as you have nothing to look forward to. No bonuses when you level taming, no new spells for magery... I think that to say a druid is overpowered is true, but not as much as some of the other classes that actually get even more bored eventually(now I'm just defending Tusker). Of course, having enemies that we can't kill alone is fun, but will a frost bear or a tusker really change that? I think not. I remember what someone said about boredom being a state of mind. If you want to change that, go see how many Sea Serpents you can kill with your lion or Tusker before you have to retreat, change the settings of where you are. I guess I'll get shot down by a million reasons for this post, but in a way, isn't it true? |
