I don't mean to spam this message, but I intend it to be a reminder some and to let those new to Oberin that there is a thread dedicated to rescues.
There is a thread dedicated for calls for help: "I would like a rescue, please." It is located within the General forum, under the 'Sticky' section. If you need a rescue please post there rather than flooding forum with calls for help.
Also, in terms of needing rescue, perhaps post the Oberin date/time so to let others know how relevant the call for help is when they read the post. Given the varying time zones in which players live, it is difficult to know by the time-stamp of the post how long ago the call for help was made.
Another point, if you post a call for help here. You might consider submitting a follow-up post noting that you have been rescued and are no longer in need of help.
And, yet another point, it helps to provide some details about what killed you and what other creatures might be around. |

I haven't been playing for a while because I've been marooned on this boring island in the middle of the sea, could anyone come and escort me back to Lerilin?

Ok, maybe I am a bit of a scaredy cat. It's just the last few times I've tried to escape I always run into a sea serpent near there and freak out. 
I'll try again though!
EDIT: Ok! I'm alright! Ran into two sea serpents on the way back but I narrowly survived. |

Selina? I'm sorry you think you still need rescuing, but a Druid of Samourai Freiheit (can't recall his name) grabbed your cash off your corpse along with your WHoP, and I grabbed your Scimitar and Metal Shield. Unfortunately, I died on the way back from Duldrus to Marali, so the Scimitar and Metal Shield are lost.
Anyway, if I can Orb you when you're around, I will help you find the Druid in question and recover the 7000-ish gp and the WHoP. |

| Day 109 of the Dancing Moon, Year 436; time: 07.49 (15 Aug - UK time 17.39). Standing on corpse of somebody (possibly a cleric but more likely a druid) called Reyla in Rock Maze, next to spider cave entrance. Have only got one slot in inventory and keep dropping coins as I run off fighting HGs to preserve body - anybody can get in touch with Reyla? I have killed the bone mage. |
