| @Snowowns: And I thought you meant an Oberin skat deck. Galandir as king of clubs, Tirana as queen of clubs, dead Zexe will be the jack, ... |

I know about zazzle.com, and I would love to design a skate deck. I might open an account there. But I have been getting a few negative responses to the store so I want to ask here. Is the store a bad idea?
Meaning, for example, that if you want to donate you have to pay $30 only to donate $5. I saw it as you get to donate and get an Oberin t-shirt, but maybe I am blind. So what do you think, should I shut the store down now and just rely on donations? |

Nooooo! I love the store! If people want to donate five dollars, you have given them a way to do that already!
I don't understand the dilemma...if you don't WANT a t-shirt, just donate directly at the donation page!

I think store idea fine. If people want to just donate, they can do so without having to buy anything. And for those that would like merchandise, they can buy an item and know some of the profit will go towards a new server.
I would add a second donation level, a 10$ one too. Cheaper than a movie and popcorn. |

Jinker, leave the store open. You've already given those among us who wish to donate directly a way to do that, and now you've given those of us who want a tangible piece of Oberin merchandise a way to get that, too.
And, I don't want to see you shut down the sites as soon as enough funds are in hand for you to purchase a minimal replacement for the dead server.
I, for one, would like to see you leave it open at least until you have enough to also build in some enhanced reliability, possibly through redundancy.
We love you, man. |
