Hehe, it was meant as a warning... So other druids, especially if they are young and don't know this glitch yet, doesn't start to use it. |

They are lovable little nightmares! Brilliant pic Clem - matches Fixx's Blodyn-Bach calling him Mr Stubbytoe amd fluttering when I said her wings looked very elegant
Well Blodyn-Bach has been fighting poison beasts and brackens as well as lesser creatures and we did try a combination of letting her cast as much as she wanted and many quick kills but the little tinker is still at level 4 (having said that, she hunts with us on average of 1-1.30 hours a day and we've had her at least a couple of weeks now).
I find it hard to believe the kills may influence levelling as they mostly cast paralysis, teleport and disorient spells, with the occasional poison spell (totally lost on adversaries such as brackens and poison creatures), a virtually harmless magic arrow (may kill a giant ant if this has been previously poisoned) and the strongest offensive spell being explosion. They are killers by proxy^^
I find that looking after them is like looking after a 2 year old child, especially when it comes to fighting close to the water - if they retreat to the water while targeting a creature, they just focus on the target and make an easy snack for any passing sea serpent (much to our horror, Esten's pixie was instantly killed on shore, just because very close to the edge), so essential to keep summoning
as soon as you realise they are drawing their prey close to the sea (I tend to follow her into the water ready to get ss on me but not every druid hunts in company, so please do not lose focus and be ready to summon the pixie next to you). I also noticed they get trapped (just like gapers do) in certain positions by trees and that they do suffer considerable physical damage so again, ready to summon your little pixie if she gets into such a scrape. |

New creatures demand for new strategies, thus I think squeezing them into the old pattern so that hunting strategies don't need to be changed is the wrong perspective on the matter.
I enjoy my little pixie, be it level 4 or level 5 and especially finding ways to handle them in different group combinations. Well done to the developers! (especially now that the para-rm balance problem is fixed) |

I agree, new strategies are good, although keeping a pet away from a Sea Serpent is hardly anything new - most druids learn that long before they reach taming 10. |

| We all learn it. It's just sometimes there is the occasional forgetfulness or stupidity that happens to us every so often. Also, the tower is a place where that happens quite often. You have to make sure your pet is on the other side when you go in to the basement. Then you have to make sure they are invised and you are at the furthest point possible on the other side. You then have to make sure there is someone one space South of you, or your pet may well be a goner. The last thing is that you have to make sure that you do NOT do it on the west side, as the water comes in a space there. |

Probably. No harm in repeating it though. |

| May i add that we manage to kill 2 SS with Pixie. I thought its intelligent enough to keep it at a distance with the chaos spell. Now that i have made the mistake you can benefit. Enjoy wise ones. |

These little winged magical fauna are whooping my fighters butt.
Their Disorientation spell makes me have to leave certain areas and I can't even dare go into certain areas because of them. Crazy!!

@S_C: Try treeing them and see if that helps.
