I don't think any of the weapons tables are very reliable anymore daggers at one point were slower than a katana, but that has not been the case for some time now.
For a fighter I'd say try out a bunch of different weapons for a while.
I'd start with a katana or club of power especially if you can get a GM katana from somebody. Oberin weapons are not really much like the DND type weapon tables so you'll have to do some experimenting. Generally the faster the weapon the better because that is how you get success in the melee skill. |
