*quick and cryptic note jotted on scraps of parchment and passed to Mattias*
Royal Guard Ciddia Tigg,
I request a private council with you.
I must inform you that you are not in the grips of a rebellion. You are dealing with loyal subjects of a kingdom that desire a capable King. I cannot speak on their behalf, just my understandings. It is such a complicated matter and my understanding is rudimentary at best.
How can I explain the reasons they give for attacking the kingdom? It is because they believe the kingdom has fallen to nefarious influence with King Galandir's mind fading. You must see that there are no subjects in Mirith more loyal to the kingdom than these men you hold in your jail. They have staked their very lives on their beliefs.
Ciddia Tigg, you of all people must understand this. After all you did slay the Kings own sister, if I understand correctly.
I am just a dumb fighter. I cannot express what I need to say here. Action is always better than words.
Let it be known that there is demand for a capable King in the throne of Mirith.
Let it be known that I believe the reforging of the scepter is the first step in finding a new king.
There is expressed desire in appointing a new lineage, which would take divine intervention. There are expressed concerns that N'eroth would be an unfit King after being raised underground by Centaurs.
Regardless, the fire of change has been lit. I hold my own fire of change in hand and set it on the ground today.
I will do whatever it takes to reunite the kingdom with the people and with a king.
I have expressed what I can, but action speaks best.
My fire touches the ground in solidarity to kingdom and people.
